All donations will be dedicated to refugee resettlement efforts (to include rent, food, and other basic necessities) beginning with the current Afghan resettlement; any funds remaining will go toward future refugee support projects.

Thousands of refugees have been displaced from their homeland in Afghanistan. Americans have as many perspectives on this issue as we have citizens, but our points of view do not change the present need or the Biblical call. There are 76,000 + people already here or waiting to come to the USA.

Neelsville Presbyterian Church and Christ Presbyterian Church are working together to help one of these refugee families settle in the Germantown area. We hope you will consider being a part of this outreach to a displaced family.

We expect our needs to be about $2,500/month, and we want to be prepared to cover 12 months of rent, food and other basic necessities, which totals $30,000. The family will begin to partially support themselves as soon as they can obtain gainful employment.  We have raised $10,000, and we are reaching out into the community to churches, friends, neighbors, and businesses to raise the remaining $20,000.
